By using a proprietary, continuously adaptive model that is unparalleled in its scientific precision, Carbon.Equity Solutions Inc. is developing a new carbon credit standard, the Indexed Carbon Credit Standard (ICCS)^TM, that allows for units of carbon to be managed using VICCs^TM_.

All Carbon Credits Are Not Created Equal

Global carbon markets are awash with different types of "carbon credits" that are established by using different verification methodologies (if any at all). Many current offset schemes amount to nothing more than fraud, while the scientific veracity of others may be seriously questioned in terms of what actually constitutes a "carbon offset." Carbon.Equity Solutions Inc. aims to address this issue by reviewing existing carbon standard methodologies and retrofitting them within the ICCS^TM, thus establishing exchange rates for different types of credits, standardized in terms of VICCs^TM_.This allows for entities to truly quantify their carbon portfolios in terms of marginal contributions to global warming, as well as to aggregate, compare, and trade units of carbon from different standards in a single location.
